A wonderful group of friends are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge, In memory of their friend Mark who sadly died in December 2022. They are generously raising funds for Josephine's Star, (read their story below)

Tragically, on Dec 5th 2022, we lost our dear friend and work colleague Mark Boobyer who was involved in a road traffic accident on his return home from work.
In the months leading up to this, Mark had spoken on many occasions on his wish to repeat the National Three Peaks Challenge, something he undertook years before in aid of the local charity, Elliot’s Touch.
In Marks memory, we his Hinkley Point B D-Shift colleagues, along with Marks wife Chloe and his two boys Jack and Archie intend to undertake the same challenge starting on May 10th 2023.
This is in the hope to raise money for the very worthy charity Josephine’s Star, a local charity that gives support to grieving children and families in Somerset. This is a charity close to Chloe’s heart. https://www.josephinesstar.org.uk/
The National 3 Peaks Challenge is to climb Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England) & Snowdon (Wales). A distance of 23 miles and a total accent of 3064m. These are the tallest mountains within each representative country.
Any donations, which will aid us in our efforts supporting this local charity will be greatly appreciated.
