The amazing people at Hinkley Point have arranged a 2nd team to tackle the three peaks challenge in Memory of their much loved friend Mark. Read their story below and follow the link for more on how to support them.
On the 23rd of August myself, Harry Beckie and Kieran completed the three peaks challenge in less than 24 hours in horrendous conditions, we climbed Ben Nevis on the 23rd at 08:15 summited in 2hrs 30 min and descended 2hrs, the summit was, raining and so cold I was unable to put my waterproof protector on my bergen because my hands were frozen. We arrived at Scafell Pyke in the pouring rain summited in 1hr 50 minutes and descended in the dark and wet conditions in 1hr 40. We arrived at Snowdon 03:30 again pouring with rain. Summited 2hrs 10 min climbing in the dark and rain was a huge challenge and descended 1hr 30 min. We took a picture of Mark with us on our amazing journey and toasted absent friends with a shot of brandy at ever peak.
